Hey there! I'm Lexie.

After working for four years as a personal assistant in an international cosmetics company, I realized that this wasn’t what I wanted to do with my life. So I left the corporate world, packed my bags, returned the keys to my apartment to my landlord and began my journey around the world.

I started my journey in Australia. I worked and traveled around the country for two years, looking for a purpose in my life. Then I went to Asia and ended up in Indonesia. It was there that I fell in love with scuba diving, and next with teaching. It took me many years of aimlessly wandering before I discovered what I really wanted to do with my life: teach and share my love of the ocean with others. I taught scuba diving for 6 years. This allowed me to live in some breathtaking countries: Vietnam, Colombia, Fiji, Maldives…

Then 2020 came along and the world stopped... That’s when I decided to combine my two passions: teaching and learning languages. I would like to say I’ve always loved learning languages, but that would be a lie. I learned English out of necessity for my professional life. As my English improved and I developed my own study methods, I appreciated the learning process more and, eventually, I enjoyed learning languages. A few years later, I learned Spanish. Next, I forgot it when I started learning Portuguese. I failed to master Spanish. I didn't work hard enough and then I stopped practicing. I am a normal person, with the same failures and successes as everyone else. Failures are part of the learning process. I've learned from all my failures, and that motivates me to pursue and reach my present and future goals.

After more than 10 years living abroad, I dedicate myself to helping expats navigating their daily life confidently and feeling at home in France.
